“ Does a man bathe quickly? Do not say that he bathes badly, but quickly. Does a man drink much wine? Do not say that he does this badly, but much.

A reflection

Describe, don't moralize. 'Quickly' is a fact; 'badly' is a verdict you've smuggled in. Notice how often you upgrade observations into condemnations — and how often the condemnation is yours, not the situation's.
